Uranium glass, or Vaseline glass, does not glow in the dark. It emits a beautiful green glow when under UV light. It gets its distincinve colour & glow from containing a very small amount of uranium oxide, which is added during the molten-stage of glass making. It is completely safe to handle and is not toxic.
